Hoooooooooooola!!
So I'm back in the woods again! haha
well let me say like this about the vacation: I still haven't woken up yet!!
it was the most efficient vacation ever, including visits to 4 countries within 7 hours... I deserve my own check-in counter at Copenhagen Airport. And the security people don't ask me about liquids anymore... I know the rules by now ;-)
Well 4 days in Oviedo, Asturias, with my lovely (and totally crazy) ex-flatmates were great! First of all I had the looooongest flight ever there... I catched a train from Växjö, Sweden to Copenhagen at 8am and I was in Asturias at 3.30 am the following day... Let me say like this: don't fly with Spain air if you have a connection flight ;-)
My flight was 1 hour late from Copenhagen which contributed to the fact that I missed my connection flight from madrid to Asturias and had to take a bus that took 4 hours... BUT... there's always two sides of a coin right? =) Well, I had a really nice company on the flight to Madrid ;-) And the bus was the absolutely most comfortable one I've ever went with! So I'm not complaining! After all I saw my "Lisbon family" again after 6 months which was worth the trouble!
Within 4 days, we travelled with a great jeep up on the mountains and all the way donwn to the golden beaches. We had so much sea food I can't remember evrything we ate and we saw both rain and sun. Unfortunately the waves were too small for surfing =((
Anyways, we visited most of the western part (if I'm not mistaken and it is the eastern coast lol), including Tozones (whixh is known with a fun tagline ;-)) and Gijon - a nice city just down the moutains and straight on the beach more or less. Oviedo was an amazing city, which I heard is Woody Allen's favourite and there's supposed to be a statue of him that I never found. Perhaps because there were so many statues... =) Woody's next movie is supposed to be made up there as well.
I saw how octopus' are catched and killed, very pleasent.... or not... and also how an octopuss dish tastes like.
Octopus in sauce with rice... yummy.. or? =)
I had Asturian "glögg" which was yummy and all kinds of spanish specialities including Marta's Oreo's haha. And my ex-flatmates are a living proof of the fact that too much studies damages your health! So now you can go home to your parents and complain and still be able to prove it! ;-)
Joder, it's Friday and definately time to get out of the office!!
To be continued or... HASTA LUEGO!!
PUXA ASTURIAS!!!!!!
Besitos
